Helpdesk System

I am currently working in IT 1st line helpdesk support and not really getting anyway at the moment. I have a good IT related degree.

I need some advice as to what career paths I could take in IT to get my career back on track, together with jobs & certifications needed to get into that field.

I am quite interested in networking so if you have information on possible job roles, certs, ideas to get into that field any help would be much appreciated.

I have 2 years experience in the IT field at an healthcare helpdesk. I would like to move into something more hands on and off the phones. I am getting my A+ cert this month. I am not for sure where to go next. Any ideas would be appreciated.
